Perhaps you're wondering why the hell you are receiving a text at six in the morning but look, let's not sweat the small details. Pay attention to the larger ones, like the contents of this very important message: ]

Hello.

Through the tides of fate, you have been chosen to participate in this year's Valentine's Day event: Blind Dating. It is believed that no one should be alone for such an important day and as such, you have been paired up with another lonely soul.

Your match is with Eleanor Lamb. Please contact them to plan out your date for tomorrow.

However, if you and your partner do not know what to do, there will be a booth in Recollé Square for the sole purpose of assisting unsure or confused participants of the event. There will be date suggestions, booklets of pick-up lines, and refreshments.

[Kurt wakes up to both texts, and it's a few moments before he's awake enough to respond. He probably should have foreseen that the blind date could have ended up being someone he's already friends with, but it's not exactly disappointing. A little awkward, but at least it makes him feel less anxious about trying to impress someone.]

[As promised at the flower shop, there will be a gift addressed to Kurt. He'll find a little pouch filled with heart-shaped macarons, about 6 or 7. There's a neat little card written in Anya's neat and short hand-writing:]

[The charity ball was coming up! Unfortunately Anya couldn't quite manage to be in attendance - it was the one day that her mother managed to have time off for the week and Anya was more interested in selfishly spending time with her Mama for as long as possible. That said, that didn't mean she didn't want her friends to lose a chance on having fun -

It was a brief conversation where she realized that Kurt didn't exactly have an assortment of fancy dances in his repertoire and she giggled, immediately inviting him to learn a few more with her. There's an empty practice space once classes are over in the dance studio and she gave him the address, then waiting patiently for him to appear.

She's humming absent-mindedly as she waits. (The Theme of King JJ. It's the Theme of King JJ.) And then she's interrupted-]

[Kurt likes to think that he's got the freshest moves this side of Recolle. But, he's been a bit nervous with the gala coming up that he just doesn't know enough, and he doesn't want to look like a total fool. Luckily there's Anya - incredible, dependable Anya, who volunteered to help him.

He shows up at the dance studio simply wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants for the practice. He takes off his sunglasses as he enters, then as he speaks with a smirk, he winks and points a finger gun at Anya.]

[ Kurt may notice, one fine morning, that there is a bouquet of blue flowers in his mailbox. They aren't the whispering flowers--in fact, they look nothing like them. No, this is an assortment of normal flowers, like blue delphinium, cornflowers, and gentiana, all thankfully restored to their normal colors now. James had tried making the flowers himself out of tissue paper, only to realize blue tissue paper still looked gray.

Nestled inside the flowers is the mangled remains of one of those "record-your-own" audio birthday cards. The voice chip is hidden amongst the flower stems, but when Kurt lifts the bouquet, it will repeat the following at him whenever the chip activates: ]
