You know, Kurt, if you wanted to go out with me, you really should have simply asked. This all seems awfully convoluted.

[Yes of course she's going to be silly about it. And make it his fault somehow.]

[Kurt wakes up to both texts, and it's a few moments before he's awake enough to respond. He probably should have foreseen that the blind date could have ended up being someone he's already friends with, but it's not exactly disappointing. A little awkward, but at least it makes him feel less anxious about trying to impress someone.]
