[She checked the schedule! And she thinks she can borrow this practice dance room for their purposes. She opens the door for him and guides him in, having already queued up a song and everything ahead of time.]

Why thank you! [He says with a dramatic flourish as she opens the door for him.]

Huh? Oh, dancing! Of course, I know the freshest steps! [He bobs softly in place as he speaks.] Just not the, well, fancy party steps, you know?

[so dramatic... so cute... she's giggling even as he bobs and she nods]

[She does seem to be having trouble with some words... Kurt doesn't recall her having those difficulties. But he doesn't point it out, and he only raises an eyebrow with the hint of a confused smile at her latest mix-up.

Okay! Then... counting in threes is best to start since waltz is only in three-counts! [and she'll go to play the music, which is an appropriately slow waltz song as promised] Can Kurt count to the rhythm?

[Let's not start russian ahead of ourselves here-

Kurt smirks and addresses her first comment first.]

[And then he listens as the music starts to play, nodding at her question.]

Totes mcgotes! I'll be like one two three! Or should I say... [He then snaps his fingers in a partly successful attempt to match the rhythm.] One-two-three!

[GOOD JOB, KURT. Anya nods in encouragement - then starts bopping her head in the exact rhythm of the given song and claps her hands.... which also naturally follow the rhythm.]

Да! Good. Now match how Anya stands.

[And she'll mimic the proper posture for a dancing lead...!]

[He says teasingly, but he does seem to know what she really means. And he reflects that in the next moment, as he assumes that posture! He just exaggerates his shifting into that posture a bit dramatically for comedic effect.]

[The comedic effect works! Anya giggles at his movement and she nods, before reaching out - ]

Sure! Just take care to put them back where you found them when you're done.

[He grins as he reaches his hands towards hers. Normally he'd be more nervous about dancing with a girl. Maybe it's because she's younger, or because she's Anya, but he feels relaxed dancing with her. It's just Pure.]

[thank goodness for the Pure. and to be honest his joke goes over her head so she just answers:] After the lesson!

[but for now she'll guide his hands as directed, one hand gently holding onto hers and the other directed to the middle of her back]
