[whenever kurt arrives at the mansion, he doesn't have to be close to her bedroom to hear the rugged cough come from the other side. rogue had tried everything she could think of to keep her sickness under control, and it didn't seem to be working. or maybe it is working, but she's too exhausted to take full notice.

with a weary sigh, the mutant tosses her head against the pillow, her muscles ache severely in spite of not doing much moving, and the dizzy spells wave like an uncontrollable tide. but the sight of kurt warms her, and she lifts a tired, gloved hand his way as a greeting.]

[it's a simple meal, but it does look scrumptious even so. rogue reaches for the crackers first, and takes a bite. it's a test to see where her stomach lies regarding food. if she can eat this without feeling queasy, then soup will be the next step up.]

Well, if it's blazin', then we're gonna need it. I'm mighty surprised by the simulation given us the change in weather. The Danger Room will only do that if we manually fiddle with it.

[It seemed like the right idea for someone who's sick! Kurt chuckles lightly at the comparison to the Danger Room.]

Oh yeah, this place really gives the Danger Room a run for its money! Just not in a good way. This definitely feels a lot more real. And more like a Danger World!
