Guten tag! Tou've reached the phone of Kurt Wagner, the awesome Nightcrawler. I must be off being awesome right now! Please leave a message after the [He then just makes a bamfing sound as he teleports, followed by some chuckling.]

[ damnnit. but maybe leaving a message will reach him. ]

Sugah? It's me. I'm just tryin' to find ya. Making sure you're all right and we can meet up with Scott and Morph. Call me, 'kay?

[His voice immediately responds!]

I'm here! I'm here. Sorry, I was just playing with you. A whole team meeting, huh? It makes sense with everything that's been going down.

[He should go to keep up appearances. But if all of them are there... That would make it trickier to do what needs to be done.]

[ playing around at a time like this? well... sometimes she uses jokes to wind down the tension, so maybe that's not so abnormal, but rogue still sighs in relief to know he's alive and well right now. ]

I figured if we stay in numbers, we'd be alright 'till somebody comes up with an antidote or... storm up a bright idea on how to handle this. But we oughta keep a good distance, too. We don't know the symptoms, and I got an extra pair of gloves if we need 'em.

[Kurt is a big fan of keeping things light in types of danger, and trying to get a laugh out of the people he cares about. It makes for a nice break from the worrying. Although now, it's also a break from his own worrying thoughts.]

Not a bad plan! Do we even have an idea how this thing spreads? I feel like it's hard to get straight answers about it. But I'm sure we'll figure it out together! I've got plenty of gloves of my own, but hey, maybe Scott could use a pair!

I ain't got a lick a clue, Elf. And I've heard squat about nothin'. But it got me thinkin' if this sucka messes with the mind. If it does, think we oughta come up with a code word?

That way, if one of us can't remember, then it might mean it's got our mind twisted.

That's an awesome idea! Like some kind of spy movie. Ooh, how about 'Cool Blue'?

[ she chuckles, and shakes her head. ]

Cool Blue it is. What's a good name for me? If ya blue, I gotta have Red somethin'.

Exactly! Color-coded codenames are cool. How about Red Dynamite? Because you're a real blast!

[ she snorts, then laughs over his pun. and it's a real laugh too, which has been rare these days. ]

Kurt, you're funnier than a penguin playin' banjo. Well, alright then. Cool Blue and Red Dynamite are coming a-knockin'!

Sounds like I beat some good competition! [He says with a laugh! Man, he'll never get tired of her sayings.] Now I feel like we have a superhero duo on our hands. Totally rad!

[Part of him feels bad about what he's hiding. But part of him is sure that this is for the best.]

Yeah, it's lookin' like this place is gonna need us more than I thought. Lucky for 'em, huh?

Oh yeah, they hit the jackpot when they brought us here!

[Except that Gnosia!Kurt has his own idea of saving people...]

Oh, I've been meanin' to ask ya, where are you living, anyway? I haven't seen your goof self anywhere near the Inn.

You ain't sleepin' out there with wildlife, are ya?

[He chuckles.]

No, I haven't been living life on the wild side! I'm actually living with Scott and a few others. They had a room to spare!

Others, huh? He must've landed a mansion if it's more than just the two of you.

Ya'll ain't having too many fights, right? Reality TV shows always show roommates breathin' on each other's necks.

[digthefuzz]

As if! [He laughs.] It's nothing like the Professor's place, that's for sure. It's just a four bedroom house. And we're getting along pretty well so far! [Well, aside from maybe Ange getting mad at him for getting fur all over the bathroom.] No one's getting voted off the island.

[ she laughs at his last remark. rogue had seen a few episodes of The Real World on MTV, and while a lot of it was ridiculous (honestly, a bunch of humans her age doing nothing but to get drunk and having sex everywhere?), it was bizarrely mesmerizing and hard to not see what would happen next in the group. ]

Well, try and keep it that way. I ain't got a boat to take ya off it. I haven't seen any Mickey D's around here, but whatever counts as fast food in this place, don't swell up like a tick with 'em. When you're an X-Man, you gotta eat right sometimes.

[He's definitely the right target for that advice, given how he tries to live off of burgers.]

Right, right! Don't worry Sis, I'll make sure to eat my veggies.

You're right good then. We oughta have a sibling day whenever this place's done actin' like a herd of buffalos.

[He does want to get to know this version of his sister better. ...Or at least that's how the non-Gnosia part of him feels.]

And maybe you can teach how to play one of your favorite arcade games too! I'd be open to that.

I'll be lookin' for to it. [ she smiles, then lets out a small sigh. ] Well, I guess I oughta be moseyin' on. I gotta make a few more calls and help out wherever I can.
