((Kurt is absolutely too amiable for Allie, and Allie is 100% ready to get punched in the face. None of that makes sense, I know, but it's Allie, for god's sake.

Allie half dodges, half offers the letter to Kurt, clearly too skittish to really do anything with his whole heart right now, and then moves aside so Kurt could give the locker a try himself.

Meanwhile, Allie timidly stands behind Kurt and watches the process quietly. So scary, so unnerving, such terror.))

[Allie... Allie, why. Kurt stares at the nervous guy in confusion for a moment and tries to make a reassuring smile.]

Hey man, chill... I don't bite.

[At this rate, Kurt is going to wonder if Allie is a mutant if he's so worried about possibly being bullied. But that's a question for another day, as now Kurt focuses on the locker situation.]

Okay, now watch the master at work! [He puts in the combination and opens the locker.]

((describing Allie as a mutant would actually not be totally in correct!!! Not that he would know or agree to it himself.

Allie jumps a little bit as the door swings and Kurt shouts (yells? calls out? really, any decibel at "!" is too loud for Allie), but seems to contain himself regardless.

He looks at the locker a moment, uncertain, and then finally collects himself for a quiet: )) Thank you..! ((Blush blush... but afterwards he leans over a little to see if anything of his is in the locker but... Nothing of interest. Disappointment colors his expression quickly.))

Allie moves still to see what's inside, pulling most of what is in there out and taking a moment to look at it. He seems to understand what the uniform, notebook, and pencils are, but pauses uneasily seeing the phone. These are terrifying tbqf.))

...Wow, like one that shoots arrows? Or... one that you wear...?

It usually takes time before stuff magically shows up.

Ah- ((He lets out a small laugh.)) That you shoot with.

((He frowns a little.)) I'll wait until then.

O-okay. [He has a hard enough time picturing this guy shooting things with a camera, let alone an actual weapon.]

Maybe you won't need it until then.

...Do you really think that would be the case? ((There's a degree of skeptisim in his voice as he glances sideways at Kurt, but looks away a moment after.)) I've already heard mention of monsters...

Well, I did say 'maybe'. Monster attacks... [A shadow falls over his face.] They're a danger, but it looks like they only happen like once in a blue moon. If you're lucky, and if you stick around people who can look out for you, you might be alright until you get your bow back.

.... I'm doomed. ((He says it soft enough that it might not even be heard, but the fact that he has to take a moment to drop his head into his hands says enough about his state of mind and major concerns.))

((Allie blinks and stares.)) Hang in where? And... my name is Allie? ((Who is Dude???))
