[He gestures at the back of his wheelchair, offering more than anything since he can definitely move on his own.] You can lean on them and walk without worrying about being too obvious.

Huh? [He looks around uncertainly as he pieces it together, then he rubs at his head sheepishly.]

Thanks man. But... I don't want to impose on you too much, or anything. I mean, I did already fall on you.

I insist, then. It's only until you get your balance, right? Walking might do you some good without other people staring as much.

[As much, because unfortunately this wasn't exactly a normal case here either. He missed how easy it was back in Ugumori and his teammates, but it was nothing that could bother him too long.]

Fine, fine, I guess your insistences are wearing me down! [He'll get a grip on the handles, vaguely remembering some of the times he's been near Professor X's wheelchair. And he nods.]

[As he says that, he has to pause to dig for his notebook, the few notes he already made firmly lodged on the last page when he flips it open from the wrong side. It's all in Japanese though, not as neat as he usually writes, but good enough.]

Um... How about for one: spooky central! I haven't seen anything dangerous here yet, but almost everything's creeped me out!

[he smiles.] Except for the food! [With a light pat at his belly.]

[That earns a laugh, just slightly more than a chuckle to be honest.]

You know, you're the first one I've met who didn't have any complaints about the food.

[He was more interested in people's reactions rather than the meal itself, but that was hardly worth mentioning.] I have to agree that this place is really creepy. School almost seems normal now.

Everyone else is just picky! [He waves that off.] You can never go wrong with pizza.

[Well, that's a safe question at least.] I'd say a rather typical one. I came from Ugumori High. And you? You don't happen to be a foreign exchange student, right?

Hey, how did you know? [He says with his distinctive German accent.] I'm from Germany, but I've been going to school in America. Bayville High! It's... pretty normal! [In a world with mutants.] And I also get lessons at the place where I live, the Xavier Institute!

I'll make sure I'll give you my share next time then. [He likes pizza well enough but he rather likes the Japanese fusion types, not... these.]

I had a feeling, that's all. [Or rather, he was guessing since he's not Japanese and this school is closer to Japanese than German. He's not going to correct the misunderstanding though, since he did clarify it all on his own.]

Studying twice as much? That's diligent. What kind of lessons do you get in the institute?

If you insist! That's too much generosity.

And, uh... it's not too much studying! The Institute... it's kind of a home for the gifted and talented, you know? So we just get help developing our talents. Plus... recreational things - like gymnastics!

[Too much? Nah. It's not like Kurt can eat their whole supply of pizza, right? He actually has no idea.]

[That is an... unusually broad term. Nao does seem somewhat confused at the choice of words, though the smile is still in place as if he was debating whether or not to ask.

Oh, um, plenty of kinds! [He's not sure if he should spill the truth or not.

But he doesn't want to raise any red flags against mutants, so he tries to play it cool.]

There's a small twitch in Nao's mouth, trying to hold back a smile or maybe a laugh at the way he tries to dodge the topic with... generalization. On the other hand...]

You must really like your gymnastics. [Since he doesn't think the latter two explains anything at all.] You should show me sometime, when you're not falling over your own feet.
