Man, it's a total bummer you never heard of them. But they're pretty much like games you can play on a screen! There are games on the phones we get here, you know... they're just ridiculously hard!

[For now.]

Yes, the Erica express is pulling into the right station! [Making a fist pump motion like she's pulling the horn on a train.] Oh, yes, the phone games? Those are video games? I've played one of those already. It was only my first time playing but I managed to get a two!

[Flappy Bird is hard.]

[He laughs at her motion and plays along.]

All aboard?! [Then he nods.]

Oh so you are already familiar! Yeah, video games are kind of a lot like that. But most of them are on tv screens! And they usually have a lot more detail to them.

With the games we have in our phones? I'd say a two is pretty impressive! [He presents a thumbs up.]

[Were she not still worn out then she would be up on her feet and acting like a train. Instead she settles for moving her arms to imitate the wheels of a train.]

Ah, I wonder if this mean you'll clip train tickets now or if you will stay with the theatre. [Please stay with the theatre. Even just playing around like this has her looking a little down, thinking he might change jobs on her like that.] Or maybe you could get a video game job instead. You seem to know a lot about them. Your score on your phone must be at least... Three times what I can do.

[He just tugs at the air like a conductor.]

My score on the phone? It depends on the game, but it's nothing to be proud of. And hey, why don't I just combine all three games? A theater train sounds totally radical! Either way, I won't leave you hanging.

A train like that... I've never thought of anything like it before.

[Humming to herself as she considers this. Not that she needs to think on it for long. Her face is soon lighting up as she's completely taken by the idea.]

A traveling performance, getting people to their destinations and entertaining them on the way there! We could all see different sights and put on a new show for every trip we make... Ah, a rolling revue!! Isn't it wonderful?!

Totally wonderful! A rolling revue? I bet we'd draw in some rolling reviews! [He tries to joke as he carries on.]

The kids can come too, so they can all see the world. Man, it's actually starting to sound more like a circus... but that's still cool!

That would be a circus, wouldn't it? But we could perform on the train itself while it moves! Then we really would be a rolling reviewed revue to review roll and... It would be spectacular, wouldn't it?! [TOO MANY RS. TOO MANY REVUES.]

We could have separate cars for each performance. And if the children came along with everyone then we could all see France together! May God be with you for such a wonderful idea.

That's one way to get things rolling! [He'll just avoid the rest of the rs for now. And then bashfully scratches at his head at the praise.]

H-hey, I just came up with the seed idea! And you're really running with it. You're the one making it wonderful!

I'm making it wonderful? Really? [That's really touching to hear. So much so her cheeks turn a little pink.] Oh no, really, it was thanks to you that we could come up with this idea!

[Don't think she won't go back and forth over who really made this idea what it is okay. She will.]

In fact, 'we' sounds just right I think. The rolling revue was a joint effort between us both! The ticket clipper and the stage dancer.

[He chuckles.]

Fine, fine. If you insist... We can share credit. It's the children that really matter in the end, right?

...Hey, did we ever exchange names?

Right! In the end, no matter where the idea came from, it's the children who will benefit the most. I'm sure they would be thankful as well!

[The thought of children being happy and having fun. It really is lovely to think about. She ends up sighing to herself while she considers his question.]

You know, I'm not sure! It might be a little late now but just in case, my name is Erica Fontaine. Next time I'll be sure to ask the name of the ticket clipper sooner.

Of course they will be! The kids love you!

Heh, don't worry. This ticket clipper doesn't mind. [He tips an invisible hat.] Good to meet you, Miss Fontaine! I'm Kurt Wagner.

Aah I hope so! Nothing would make me happier than to know the children love me just as much as I love them. Oh, and of course they would love you as well. [Joint idea and all. Gotta share the love around.]

You think so? [Hehe. He certainly has a way with words. All this praise!] I think you're the same Kurt, you know just what to say to make the mood right. You're a real mood maker!

But yes, good old kids... Ah, but I've never found an old child before. It must be true what they say about them growing up fast! [Erica no.] Maybe I'm wrong, but I hope I'm not. You love children as well don't you Kurt?

Children? Well, um, yeah. Why not? Kids are da bomb!

Not everyone does, some people are very shy and aren't as fond of children as others. [Shy being the nice way of saying some people in Paris are kind of jerks.] But it makes me glad to hear that! I think children are 'da bomb' as well... This is like being cool isn't it?

[Please don't tell her children are actually da bomb. That's just worrying and confusing.]

Well... yeah, that's true. And there are people who are just jerks! [He shakes his head, not realizing her French there.]

Bingo! You got it! Da bomb means being totally cool! So, I'm glad we agree on that!

Well... There is that way of putting it as well, though I'm sure they don't all mean to be mean. [Really though they are all jerks, if they were really shy they wouldn't be so mean. But of course to Erica that just means shy.]

So da bomb and being cool are one and the same! Ah, are there any other words that might mean something else but actually mean cool?

[Since Kurt seems very well versed in being cool she might as well pick his brain for the moment. Tell her all about cool and coolness.]

I... think I get what you mean. [He mostly says that just for the wordplay value.]

Oh man, there's plenty I can teach you! Radical, boss, awesome... there's one in my home language too. Wunderbar!

Awesome I know! And boss I've only ever heard used to mean the manager. Now, wunderbar... Ah, it's a little late, but you're German aren't you Kurt? [YEAH JUST A LITTLE LATE he has the accent and everything Erica.] I have a friend back home who was from Germany, when I next get the chance I'll ask her all about wunderbar and boss as well.

That's right! In Germany, born and raised! But I've lived in America the last few years. [He smiles.] I- I'm sure she'll find it to be a cool lesson!

Oh she will, a very cool person like her would really appreciate a lesson on being cool. I know it! [Reni really seems to fit the definition of cool when she thinks about it. Though she would likely get embarrassed if Erica ever told her that.]

What was your favourite thing about living in Germany? Was it the landmarks, the food? It can be both as well if that's the case!

Um... Man, I can't really pick. Maybe it was just how quiet it was where I lived. It was really peaceful there! I love the city and all, but I still miss the simplicity, you know?
