[Kurt himself is going pale as he thinks of that. He never met Naoto, but he's become all too familiar with what happened to her. It's scary that she hasn't returned at all like he has - and it's a subject of guilt as well.

That, plus the fact that this guy knows her by name... It makes his stomach sink. He knows that this guy's new, so he has to be someone who knew her before all of this...]

I'm really sorry.

I'm going to keep my eyes out on her. I promise.

[Yeah, that... he figured the clones out pretty fast, and wasn't at all pleased with it. Their captors were taunting him.]

[Well... he got the info he wanted, and he definitely didn't plan for this to turn into an improv therapy session with a random stranger. So he should probably just pull the plug.]

I wish it was her instead of me- No, that would accomplish nothing. And, guiltily, Kurt's not sure if he honestly believes that.

But he doesn't want to leave on a business tone. This guy must be really hurting...]

[Yu generally prefers to keep the focus on other people's problems; the idea of talking about his own to a complete stranger is something he's not totally comfortable with. But now he's already done it.]
