Background: Wiki Link

Personality:

Among the X-Men, Kurt likes to act as the class clown. Friendly, optimistic, always quick to crack a joke or take part in a shenanigan. He can also partake in showboating that often is not thought through very much, such as teleporting onto the nose of an X-Jet while he's supposed to be piloting it in an attempt to impress someone. He also tries too hard to be 'cool', to the point where he tries using a lot of slang in his words, no matter how outdated or forced it may sound. Kurt can be a rulebreaker, but primarily in innocent ways, such as cutting curfew to attend a carnival, and even then he felt guilty throughout it (and did so largely due to the Tabatha Smith's peer pressure). When push comes to shove, he remains steadfast in being dedicated to what feels right in his heart, such as allowing Magneto to receive a power-up to prevent the other mutant from dying.

Because of Kurt's mutant appearance, which resembles a blue and furry devil, he has been haunted by adversity throughout his life, and it has caused him to feel a deep insecurity about his appearance. While he can find pride in his appearance ("chicks dig the fuzzy man!"), he feels that he has to hide his appearance in order to fit in. That has caused him to be overly dependent on his image inducer to disguise himself as an ordinary human. It even came to the point where Kurt denied being friends with the other X-Men after the mutants were outed. While Kurt ultimately revealed himself as a mutant, he kept his true blue appearance a secret from the public, because he did not feel ready to fully reveal himself yet. These insecurities about his true appearance are likely a reason why he overcompensates in trying to seem 'cool' and fit in with normal, cool people.

Despite the difficulties he faces as a mutant, especially one with his particular appearance, Kurt is known for an undercurrent of faith that he has in others, which is shown most strongly in his familial bonds. Kurt has acted like an 'annoying little brother' to Rogue throughout the time they've known each other, and it became literal when it turned out that both of them had a parental connection to the mutant named Mystique. Kurt immediately took pride in being Rogue's brother and helped to take care of her at one of her lowest points, though Rogue took longer to come around. In terms of Mystique, despite being raised lovingly by adoptive parents, Kurt has felt a yearning to connect with his biological parent. This resulted in a conflict after Mystique was turned into stone. While Rogue wanted nothing to do with Mystique because of all the pain she had caused, Kurt felt that the right thing to do was to help her, as they would be no better than her if they abandoned her. Once Rogue snapped and pushed the statue off a cliff, seemingly killing Mystique, Kurt was heartbroken and became cold towards Rogue for a while. But ultimately, after Rogue nearly left Bayville behind, Kurt returned to supporting Rogue and seems to have forgiven her. While his feelings about his biological parent remain complicated, his faith in his friends and his sister remain strong.

Abilities:

Kurt is a mutant, so he has several different powers/abilities:
-Teleportation: His signature power, which involves instantly teleporting between two points. (Or at least it looks like teleporting; in actuality, Kurt is pulled through and then returned from a hell-like dimension at two different points at a speed too incredible for Kurt or anyone with him to actually notice). His limit is two miles, and it's dangerous for him to teleport to areas that he can't actually see so he will usually avoid that.
-He has a prehensile tail that can be used to grip onto things almost like another hand and can also support his own weight.
-He can cling to any solid surface, even walls and ceilings.
-He is capable of very acrobatic movements, he undergoes intense training regularly with the X-Men that sharpen his reflexes and endurance, and he's also learned some hand-to-hand combat.

Inventory: Aside from having his X-Men uniform on, he most prominently has this:

- His image inducer: a wrist watch that projects a type of hologram to make Kurt look like a normal human. The hologram can be adjusted to make him look like different people or change various aspects of his appearance.

Samples: His test drive top level has two threads that are past five comments as of this writing, and this one is about to hit five comments.

Questions: None!
