Wow... this is really old.

[Kurt nods along with that support of the more optimistic theory, and then he comes closer to look over her shoulder, with a surprised look.]

Man, you're not kidding! Talk about old school! Does that mean these trains have been here that long...?

[ She holds up the newspaper so he can see it better. ]

That's what I'm wondering... That has to be it, right? Unless someone dumped all this stuff in the car. [ Which doesn't sound likely but who knows. ]

Hey, I wouldn't put it past Retrospec. I don't know what else it could be, though. Unless we traveled through time!

[ And impossible, but she really has no idea if anything is impossible anymore. ]

[He pauses thoughtfully. He does know someone who can travel through time now, but he'd rather not spook her.]

Well. It might be possible, but I haven't seen Retrospec use it at all so far. [He offers a weak smile.] So, we might be safe?

Maybe... but who knows what all Retrospec can do?

[ She frowns. ] I guess time travel isn't as bad compared to other things they could do.

R-right. I guess we can't rule anything out... [He scratches at his head.]

And it's true that it's not so bad. As long as we don't, like, change history or anything.

I can't even imagine what changing history would do. What if we disappeared right after doing something?

[ Okay, she's getting ahead of herself here! ] Anyway, it's still pretty weird how everything's so old. I wonder if that's a clue to something.

It might not be that bad. Take it easy! ...At least my phone still says it's this year. [However accurate that may be.

Maybe! I don't know what it would have to do with the giant dome or the app or anything though.

[ She sighs. ] I guess a clue doesn't mean anything unless you can piece it together with something else.

Right. I don't see how super old stuff can help us with weird stuff that's more modern and futuristic... I guess it's just something to keep in mind! We'll figure it out, probably.

We will! A lot of others have probably found similar clues too. We're bound to figure something out.

[With that, he starts to do a small but goofy victory dance to acknowledge this.]
