AU Info [Recolle]
Current Age: 19
Birthday: November 11, 1998
Status: Freshman college student, tv actor (on Heckbusters from 2012-2016)
Hobbies: Video games, skateboarding, basketball, internet/meming, watching movies.
History/General Stuff
Childhood
- Kurt is of German heritage, but he was born and raised in Recolle. He only knows very basic German.
- His family is Catholic. Kurt has been a fairly devout follower, although he's been increasingly tempted to be rebellious as he's gotten older.
- He comes from money. His father is movie director/producer and has pushed Kurt into acting from an early age. They also provide somewhat of an elitist influence and try to dissuade Kurt from making friends with other 'ordinary' people whom they see as obstructions to his success. Despite that, he has still made such friends throughout his life and especially seeks to do so now at college.
- His mother is Amelia Wagner (
smothershadow).
- After he was cast in Heckbusters in late 2011, he was pulled out of public school and moved away from Recolle. He quickly lost touch with most of the people he knew back then.
Teenage Years
- He received a mix of private tutors and lessons at private schools as his education from 2012-2016 and had little in the way of friends beyond the cast of his show.
- However, he does use the internet a lot to get away from the stresses of his acting life and joke around with memes. Through the net, he has made some new friends while also starting to reconnect with some of his Recolle friends.
College
- Only recently did he convince his parents to let him return to Recolle to attend college there, now that the show's on hiatus. He is a college freshman and is overeager to have something like a "normal" social life. As part of the compromise, Kurt is left with a strict allowance instead of having access to the amount of the family funds that he's usually free to use.
- At school, he has been focusing on socializing and seeking out parties. He is a pretty good student, but he isn't as focused on his studies, and he isn't sure what he wants to do with his life beyond trying to make friends. He avoids the drama club because of his own acting life, and although he's set to return to Heckbusters someday, one potential plan for him is that he can discover classic swashbuckler films and want to follow that film career path instead?
- Kurt used some of his money to get a one-person room on campus because he feels weird about having roommates. But he most likely won't be able to afford it next semester, so he'll be looking for roomates.
General Traits
- He is largely a follower and a sucker for most dumb fads (like swagways). His sense of fashion and slang is also horrible and outdated. Yes, he still does the baggy pants with boxers showing.
- Kurt follows a standard junk foody young person diet: pizza, burgers, fries, chips, you name it!
- He has a love/hate relationship with his fame. He likes the attention and gives out autographs free of charge (this may change if/when he's low on money) but he also doesn't like being associated only with Fuzzy and especially his comic relief side. Oftentimes he wishes he could just blend in like an ordinary teen.
- Kurt can be very socially awkward in dealing with others, but he's also capable of being too arrogant and full of himself.
Heckbusters
- Kurt was cast in late 2011 (shortly after turning 12) and the show had a midseason preimere in early 2012.
- Season 1 (early 2012), Season 2 (2012-2013), Season 3 (2013-2014), Season 4 (2014-2015), Season 5 (2015-2016). So, five seasons of the show.
- Heckbusters is a essentially supernatural comedy/mystery series that is pretty much a mash-up of different shows and genres. It stars a Scooby-Doo esque group usually in monster-of-the-week scenarios (sometimes with Plot) where they fight and slay mutated demons.
- The show's main cast is vaguely like the Scooby-Doo gang. Kurt's character is known as Fuzzy (real name Franz Lehmann) and is essentially fuflills the role of Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, but mixed with a lot of 2cool qualities from stereotypical "hip" teen sidekicks from the 80s/90s.
- Fuzzy has a lot of dumb/silly catchphrases and calls things "gnarly". Kurt tries to push for Fuzzy's cool side to be shown more than his comic relief side, and that usually results in some scenes where the coolness factor is very forced just to please Kurt's demands.
- At one point early in the show's run, an emu was brought in for a part on the episode. Kurt accidentally angered it, and it chased him around the whole set. This became a viral video.
- The show's tone has gone through some dramatic shifts over the years. From being genuinely cheesy to being tongue-in-cheek witty to focusing too much on the drama or action factors, to being outright grimdark. Fans often debate about which image of the show is the "true" image.
- The show had a ratings dip in its last season and went on hiatus to be retooled. It ended on a literal cliffhanger, with Fuzzy dangling from a cliff.
- Aside from what's already been established, I'm open to other players improvising and making up other aspects of the show as we go along! Feel free to!
Pre-Established CR
- Any characters are free to assume that they've watched the show or heard of Kurt (or maybe even just his memes), fan or not!
- For any characters around his age, they can also be childhood friends who knew Kurt before he was famous.
- Other people who could have been associated with the show Heckbusters could be welcome too! Any future applicants can let me know if they'd like their character to have been part of the show's cast!
- Also for fellow actors/actresses or characters associated with the tv/film world in general, we could possibly work out ways they would have met in the world of entertainment!
